Bio
Classically trained, genre-fearless, heard in Final Fantasy XIV & XVI and on stages from Tokyo Dome to Carnegie Hall.
Training and awards
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Cal State Fullerton, where she trained as a classical soprano. Her opera repertoire includes Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus and Musetta in La Bohème, and she was a finalist in the Handel Aria Competition.
Seasons with American Bach Soloists, the Corona del Mar Baroque Festival and Pacific Symphony built the technique; new-music festivals made her the singer composers call when a piece has never been performed before.
Video games
Work with composer Masayoshi Soken brought her voice into Final Fantasy XIV and XVI, and the credits kept arriving, each one asking for something she hadn’t done before. She kept saying yes.
